On February 11th, CII-Young Indians (Yi) Bengaluru organized a Bike Rally aimed at promoting safer and more inclusive roads in Namma Bengaluru. Teaming up with the Bengaluru Traffic Warden Association, prominent biker groups, Yi-Yuva colleges, and its own members, the event garnered widespread support and participation from the community.
The rally was flagged off by Mr. Muralidhara C V, Chief of the Bengaluru Traffic Warden Association. Commencing its journey from Vidhana Soudha and traversing through prominent locations across Bangalore, the rally had maximum visibility and engagement. Over 100 bikers enthusiastically joined the rally, lending their voices to the cause of road safety.
Following the rally, Mohammed Zahrin Bin Aziz, Chair, CII-Young Indians Bengaluru, spoke about the need to raise awareness about Road safety. The rally was organised to communicate the urgent need to impart right behaviours in the communities around us and the importance of change makers to partner together to drive such initiatives in the city.
Mr. Muralidhara C V, Chief of the Bengaluru Traffic Warden Association, commended Yi’s efforts and stressed the significance of continued collaboration and initiatives to promote the cause of road safety. He urged for more initiatives and collaborations to address road safety challenges effectively.
Bikers from Bangalores RD 350 Club, Bikers of India, Bharat on Wheels, Biker Saviours, Silent Expedition biking community showed immense support by participating in great numbers and contributing significantly to the success of the event. Vaibhav Chandrashekar, Vishal Agarwal, Archana T, represented the biking community.
Following the rally, a CPR session was organized by Baptist Hospital, providing participants with valuable life-saving skills and knowledge.
