Dream to Success: A Director’s life journey

There are popular idioms in English, dreams come true. Each of us sees some kind of dream But the fate of many is disappointing. Similarly, a young man in a small village carries a dream as a child, and that is a city of dreams, that is, the film industry. That dreamer’s name is Altaf Dadasaheb Sheikh. Born in the small village of Nandeshwar in Solapur district of Maharashtra, this young man faced many challenges and rose to fame as a successful writer, director, and music director. But No dream comes true easily. Success requires immense determination, dedication and hard work.

Altaf Shaikh also had to face many difficulties. Like any other field, there is deadly competition in this field, challenges from the established, insults from the rank and file, cronyism and an universal truth i.e. financial difficulties. But when facing this challenge, he never gave up on his dreams.

He wrote and directed his first film on the strength of sheer hard work, sense of worth, innate talent and innate flair for visual and music while still a freshman. His debut film “Veda B F” became a super hit, collecting Rs 115,045,790 in just 21 days. In this film, famous singer Altaf Raja sang the qawwali song “Hey Maze Durvesh Baba” in Marathi for the first time.

The film won the High Range World Book of Records, Bravo International World Book of Records and the National Award. In the coming days, his films Betuka, Break Down, Dharavi Katta in Hindi and Come on Vishnu in Kannada language are getting curious about their fans’. On this occasion, it has to be said that a budding talent has been added to the film industry.
