Edvoy held its first Bangladesh Edvoy Excellence Awards in Cox’s Bazar on 2nd February 2004. The event celebrated its network of agent partners in student recruitment, 10 awards were presented during the evening. The event was sponsored and attended by seven university partners from the USA and United Kingdom: Aston University, University of Wolverhampton, Kent State University, University of Central Lancashire, Coventry University, Birmingham City University and Staffordshire University.
The event is a first for Edvoy, not just for agent partners in Bangladesh, but globally, with other similar events already planned to happen in India, Sri Lanka and Nigeria.
Edvoy is a tech platform that supports International Students in their applications to study abroad. As part of its service, Edvoy is proud to partner with over 4000 agent partners around the world who recruit students for over 750 institutions globally. The platform manages a transparent partnership between agents and universities, demonstrated by eight of the institution partners presenting the awards in the evening. Since its first inception as IEC Abroad, Edvoy has counselled over 85,000 international students directly and through its agents.

Sadiq Basha, CEO and founder of Edvoy is originally from Chennai, India and was an international student. He completed his Masters’ degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Greenwich, London UK. His passion in business was born out of the need for honest advice for international students to help them achieve their study abroad ambitions.
