Mumbai-After a long period of hibernation, the veteran actor of several films in Hindi as well as Marathi- Mohan Joshi will be seen in producer Dr Vimal Raj Mathur’s upcoming Marathi film Abhaya. The second shooting schedule of the film is going on in Mumbai swiftly, where several scenes featuring Mohan Joshi, who is leading a calm and serene life in lush greenery in Pune far away from the maddening crowds of the hustle and bustle in Mumbai, were canned
Producer Rupesh D. Gohil said that Mohan Joshi is essaying a very central character in the film Abhaya. The plot of the film revolves around his character . Mohan Joshi alone could have lent the right amount of justice to this characater . We went to meet him personally to his farmhouse in Pune and narrated to him the story of Abhaya and he lkiked the shades and layers of the story and readily agreed to act in the film. Mohan Joshi came especially to shoot for the film from Pune to Mumbai.
Mohan Joshi stated that he is extremely happy to be a part and parcel of the Marathi film Abhaya. “I play a negative role with gray shades in the film, which has a plot that will shock the viewers . I appeal to the viewers to go and see Abhaya as and when it is released very shortly.”
Dr Vimal Raj Mathur who is the producer of the film Abhaya said that he was very grateful to an actor of the stature of Mohan Joshi that he has agreed to be a part of the team of actors of the film Abhaya. “An extremely supportive actor like Mohanji has added to the stature of our film Abhaya by being a part and parcel of the acting team”.
Talking about the scene that was being shot that day, Dr Vimal Raj Mathur said that these days poliitical leaders as well as businessmen do every thing after asking their religious heads. The scene was shotn that day besides the ingtroduction of Mohan Joshi.
The Marathi crime thriller Abhaya is being produced under the banner of Gradiente Infotainment Limited and RDG Production Private Limited . ‘Drishyam’ fame Kamlesh Sawant is essaying the role of constable Sawant, whereas Yogita Bhosle is playing the role of Savitri in the film, written and directed by Yusuf Surti. Among the rest of the actors, mention ought to be made of Harsha Nikam , Shraddha Wagh and Arohi Bhoir whyile Vimal Mishra is the cinematographer.
