Sidhant Gupta Attends the Book Launch of Bapji: The King Who Would Be Man, Co-Authored by Renowned Historian Aman Nath

Actor Sidhant Gupta was among the distinguished guests at the book launch of Bapji: The King Who Would Be Man, co-authored by well-known Indian historian and writer Aman Nath and Yogi Vaid. The launch brought together some of the most culturally engaged names from across industries, and Sidhant’s presence was a natural fit, considering his long-known affinity for intellectual curiosity, his love for books and his deep interest in history and research, making this an evening that was as personally meaningful as it was celebratory. At the book launch, beneath warm lights and the gentle hum of literary admiration, Sidhant did not merely arrive, he unfolded, like a stanza long waiting to be read. The evening was meant for a book, its crisp pages brimming with stories, but somewhere between the speeches and the signatures, another narrative emerged, which was Sidhant’s own.

For those who have followed him closely, it is no secret that beyond the screen and stage, he carries a quiet love for poetry. And perhaps that is why he seemed so at home. Speaking about the occasion, Sidhant said, “Aman ji is someone I have had the privilege of knowing for years now, and every conversation with him leaves me richer. We have met on several occasions and each time, we have sat down and spoken at length about his books, about history, about the stories that shaped this country. His depth of knowledge is extraordinary, and his passion for preserving these narratives is something I deeply admire. I am excited to read Bapji: The King Who Would Be Man and I am honoured to have been part of celebrating it.”

Sidhant and Aman Nath’s association goes back further than most would expect. The two first connected during one of the actor’s many travels across India, and what began as a chance meeting quickly grew into a genuine bond built on shared passions for history and storytelling, albeit in different forms. Over the years, the two have sat down on multiple occasions to talk at length about Aman Nath’s books, his encyclopaedic knowledge of Indian history, and Sidhant’s own curiosity and love for research. It is a friendship rooted in mutual respect and a shared belief that stories, whether told through film or the written word, have the power to preserve what the world must never forget.

On the work front, Sidhant will next be seen in Prime Video’s Teen Kauwe, a spy thriller produced by Roy Kapur Films that follows an ex-secret agent, framed as a mole and presumed dead for seven years, who resurfaces to clear his name, unmask the traitor who framed him, and outrun his own agency’s attempts to eliminate him. A high-octane action thriller that will see Sidhant pull off stunts never seen from him before, Teen Kauwe is yet another layer added to a resume that already includes the critically acclaimed Jubilee, Black Warrant, and Freedom At Midnight.
